Lindani Dhlamini


Dhlamini is CEO of Xabiso and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Dhlamini holds a BSc (computer science), a BCom (conversion), and a Postgraduate Diploma in accounting from the University of Cape Town.

Her career started as a trainee accountant at Deloitte & Touche. In 2000 she completed her articles and joined their corporate finance division where she spent three years doing transaction support services work. Some of the major transactions she was involved in during this period included conducting the due diligence review of Deloitte Consulting, Avis, Afrox Healthcare and conducting the capital gains tax valuation of Adcock Ingram, a subsidiary of Tiger Brands.

In 2003 Dhlamini co-founded Xabiso. She has been involved in various high profile projects including being the lead Xabiso partner on the joint audit of the R600-billion Government Pension Fund; being the lead Xabiso partner on the joint audit of MiBFa, a R60-billion fund; and being the lead BEE transaction advisor on the Transaction Advisory Team advising the Gauteng Department of Health on the revitalisation of Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

From 2002 to 2004, she sat on the Nuclear Energy Corporation board as well as its Audit Committee. In 2007 she was appointed to the Board of the South African Commercial Catering and Allied Workers Union National Provident Fund.

In 2006 she won the BBQ (Black Business Quarterly) New Entrepreneur award in recognition of her achievement in establishing and leading Xabiso.
